TikToker Annie was reportedly involved in a tense confrontation with her boyfriend’s landlady that nearly escalated into a physical altercation. The incident is said to have occurred on Tuesday morning at the residence of her boyfriend, fellow TikToker Yankee, in Gregory Park, Portmore, St Catherine.
Annie and Yankee recently made their relationship public and have been sharing affectionate moments online, giving followers a glimpse into their time together. However, what appeared to be a routine visit to Yankee’s home reportedly took a dramatic turn when two individuals allegedly forced their way into the residence.
According to Annie, the landlady and her mother entered the house without permission, triggering a heated argument. She claimed the situation quickly intensified, alleging that the landlady picked up a broom and attempted to use it against her. Fearing for her safety, Annie said she grabbed a pair of scissors in self-defence.
The confrontation did not escalate further, as those involved were reportedly separated before anyone was seriously injured. Screen recordings circulating online capture a shouting match between Annie and the landlady, with Annie being restrained by another person as she warns the landlady against hitting her. The landlady is also heard asserting ownership of the house after being accused of barging in.
In another video shared afterward, Annie appeared visibly shaken while recounting the ordeal. She said multiple people attempted to attack her and insisted she only armed herself after feeling threatened. Annie repeatedly stated that she simply wanted to leave the premises and return home.
Following the incident, Annie admitted she was unaware of how serious Yankee’s living situation was prior to her visit, noting that she would have opted for an Airbnb if she had known. She further alleged that the landlady frequently harasses Yankee and enters his space without notice.
Yankee reportedly acknowledged that he needs to move, suggesting that his landlady believes he has significant financial means and treats him unprofessionally as a result. Reports indicate that she wanted to increase the rent, issued him an eviction notice, and became hostile due to Annie’s presence, ordering both of them to leave.
The situation also drew reactions from fellow TikTokers Jayden and Jabass, who are close associates of Annie. Both expressed concern for her safety and urged her and Yankee to leave the area immediately, citing the community’s history of violence.
